Copywriting
As a copywriter in product monetization I worked closely with monetization managers and designers on campaigns to keep our users engaged and drive revenue.
Product monetization (AKA live ops) is fast paced and never-ending with multiple monetization events live at the same time 24/7, 365. I worked on in-app and external assets for a huge variety of campaigns from sales and specials to player challenges, new game launches (and more).
Working in a team with designers and monetization managers I’d come up with messaging and concepts for each campaign. Concepts could be linked to a season, monthly theme in the game (fairy tales, for example), or something more product specific. Once we’d decided on a concept, I’d write copy and get it approved. Then, design would submit their art for approval. We’d revise and refine as needed until everything’s approved.
